Happy 7 Months, Liza

Liza turned 7 months old yesterday! I cannot think of a better subject for my 200th post. Liza is the light of our lives! She is very happy and totally sociable! She smiles often and has started making consonant-vowel combinations ( da da da.) She loves to eat solids and has begun to nurse less. She did a little marine crawl Wednesday night, so I figure that she will be mobile soon. She loves to play with toys. Her favorite toy is her Violet dog. She usually wakes once a night to feed but has slept through the night twice this week. She loves her sister who tells her "it's o-tay, Dida," when she cries. Thank you, God, for our smallest angel!

Fellowship Sunday

Once a month we have a fellowship dinner following the Sunday Morning Service. We recognize birthdays and anniversaries for the month, eat, and fellowship with one another. Above: Izzie participating in the stoning of St. Stephen and Liza with her Ebata.

Labor Day

The natives were growing restless around the house, and seeing that all the local parks were too full for our tots, we took them on a nature walk around Burnside Park. Note the marker on Izzie's face- we had colored and Play Dohed all day. Other than that, we just kicked back.
