Our newest little princess turned one week old yesterday. I have so enjoyed her since she has been part of our lives. She is a great baby. She nurses very well and naps regularly. She is not fussy as long as she is full and rested. Izzie is adjusting well. She kisses baby Liza on the head every day. She reaches her hands out to hold her, but she is still yet a little small. Liza likes to play between 1 and 3 am. We'll have to work on that. Happy one week, precious little angel.
Our second child, Elizabeth Ann May was born yesterday at 7:20 am. She surprised us by being a little smaller than her sister. She weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz and was 20" long. She is beautiful. She looks a little more like her mom, but Izzie looks just like her dad. She keeps her eyes open much more than her sister did the first day, and so far, she is a great nurser. We couldn't be prouder to be the parents of this perfect little angel.
Friday morning we awoke to a Winter Wonderland! Snow was everywhere, well, at least for us Mississippians. Greg and I enjoyed being home with Izzie. We were much more excited about the snow than she was. We finally got some pictures on our second trip out in the snow. Izzie HATED it. She thought it was alright until she tried to walk in it. She kept falling down, and it was COLD. On a positive note, we got a pretty good family pic of us 3 before Liza comes on Tuesday morning!
We took Izzie to Walgreen's tonight so that she could pick out cards for her Valentine's day party at daycare Friday. And the winner was..... HELLO KITTY! I love being the mom of a little girl!
I am a sinner saved by grace. Everything I am is a result of God's work in my life. I have been married to my soul mate, Greg for 8 years, and the Lord has blessed us with 2 daughters, Isabella and Elizabeth. I teach school band in grades 6-12, and I love my job!
