Happy Anniversary

Today is our 5th anniversary. I love this man of mine. To put it simply, he is a gift from God. He is my best friend, my lover, my spiritual partner, the father to my child, the one who holds me when I cry, my accountability partner, my soul mate.... Thank you, Greg, for the past five years, the day we spent on the lake today, and every day God gives us until He takes us home. I love you!

8 months old

Izzie turned 8 months old yesterday. My, my, where has the time gone? She is getting to be such a big girl. Literally! She weighed in at the doctor's office at 20 pounds even Sunday afternoon. She is still sleeping through the nigh (Thank God!) Her eating is better, although it is still inconsistent. She is definitely an apple girl. Apple sauce, apples and granola, apple Popsicle, apple juice. You get the idea. She is very independent... not really a cuddler unless she is sick. She is into everything and always on the go. Our big announcement for this month is that she is standing and becoming an avid furniture cruiser. She has changed alot this month, and I absolutely adore her little personality.


BTW, getting her to sit still with her Boo Boo Bananas is getting increasingly more difficult these days. Here are some of yesterday's out takes.

Pickles with Aunt Mer

Izzie went to the Doctor's office today for a little sinus infection. While we were in town, we stopped by to see Aunt Mer. A good time was had by all as these two enjoyed their pickles. Thanks, Aunt Mer!

Boat Girl

We took Izzie on her first boating trip this afternoon. At first we were a little reluctant to put our pint-sized 7 month old on board, but after just a few short minutes in the boat, Izzie was sailing like a pro. She did absolutely great while we were moving but got a little restless in her big bulky life-vest when we stopped.

7 Months Old

Izzie turned 7 months old last month. It has taken me a little while to put this post together! She is growing like a weed. She is now officially wearing size 12 month clothes; although, she isn't fat. She is crawling all over the place, in fact, I took my eyes off of her for 15 seconds last night and found her behind the couch.

Changes this month

Eating is inconsistent. Some days she eats a whole jar of baby food, and some days she doesn't eat.
She is sleeping though the night more regularly.
Her reflux is starting to come under control thanx to Prevacid.
She "talks" alot.
She looks at us when we call her name.
She loves pickle Popsicles.
She is pulling up and can "walk" if you hold her hands.
She loves Baby Einstein and will almost watch the whole Baby Mozart DVD.

She has come a long way, Baby!
